The Taj Mahal appeared on 03rd July 2017 as shown above because of on-going Clay Packing/Mud Packing, endeavoured by the Archaeological Survey of India on the recommendations of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment.
The three yearlong conservation process of the Taj Mahal started in April 2015 & would go on until it is fully conserved & clay packed as per the below given approx.

Southern façade Taj Mahal, ( June – August 2017)
South East Minaret Taj Mahal, (June – August 2017)
South West façade, Taj Mahal, (June – August 2017)
Northern façade, Taj Mahal, ( August – October 2017)
Western façade, Taj Mahal, ( October - December 2017)
Wall of periphery, Sheesh Mahal, Taj Mahal, ( November 2017 – January 2018)
Four Chhatri’s at the roof of Main Mausoleum, Taj Mahal, (January 2018 – April 2018)
Pinnacle & Dome, Taj Mahal, ( May 2018 – November 2018)
The three minarets of the Taj Mahal have been clay packed and are ready after conservation except the South-East Minaret, which would be accomplished by August 2017 as per renewed timeline.
