It is strategically located in the heart of the city at Basant Avenue, adjacent to the Trillium Mall. With its high ceiling and glass panelled exterior, the lobby at Taj Swarna exudes warmth and elements with design elements drawing inspiration from the local Amritsar culture, craft and traditional weaves; as well as the Golden Temple, all reinterpreted in a modern style.

They have good selection of cuisine at the hotel, from The Grand Trunk Road, the All-Day-Dining restaurant with Indian and International cuisine; to The Chinese Room drawing its culinary influences from the Sichuan and Cantonese provinces; and the chic lounge bar, The Peg with its all glass design and just the right setting for a “Punjabi peg” at the end of a long and fulfilling day! An official communication from Taj Hotels is yet come and we don’t know the exact date of its opening, but it will be sometime later this year. The much awaited, second property (after Goa) of Allia Hotels in Rajasthan is all set to open for guests from summers 2017 onwards. They have painstakingly restored an old fort to it glory and carved out 59 suites in 22 different layouts and it took them seven years. The aim was not just to work within the confines of the existing heritage structures (former royal residences and soldiers’ quarters), but also to ensure that visitors get the most out of the spectacular location. All rooms are fitted with mod-cons that will be much appreciated—comfortable daybeds, Wi-Fi and large bathrooms with standalone tubs.
This part new-build, part heritage hotel will have five F&B outlets including Kachhawa Lounge, that serves chai, coffee, cakes and Champagne, and Madhuveni, a bar with a cigar and cognac spot. They will have a full fledged spa, a pool, recreational area for children of all ages and expansive lawns that are perfect for hosting special events.
The fort is about 60km from Jaipur (200km from Delhi), located right off the NH.
