Terminal 2 is now operational - Delhi

Terminal 2 in Delhi is now operational and Indigo and Spice Jet moves some of their flights to the new terminal. Here is the update from the airlines. SpiceJet Terminal 2 flight schedules: From 25th March, 2018 operations (departure and arrival) of all SpiceJet flights from Delhi to Ahmedabad, Cochin, Goa, Gorakhpur, Patna, Pune and Surat will now take place from Terminal 2 (T2), Indira Gandhi International Delhi Airport. Renovation Update Taj Ganges Varanasi

The Gateway Hotel Ganges, Varanasi is being renovated. They will be renovating 40 guest rooms and lobby commencing from 1st May till 31st October.2018. The hotel has taken all necessary measures to minimize any inconvenience to the guests while they are upgrading. Please keep the clients informed.








Direct Flight from Bangalore to Hampi

Bangalore’s just got closer to Hampi, thanks to new direct flights via TruJet. The low-cost carrier just began the hour-long connections between Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport and the Jindal Vijaynagar Airport in Vidyanagar, which is an hour’s drive from Hampi. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Hampi was previously accessible from Bangalore only via rail or by road. A one-way ticket on the new flights currently begin at Rs999 including taxes.







Indigo to operate additional ATR flights

from March 2018

Further strengthening its route network into Tier-II & III cities in India, Indigo will launch 7 additional flights from March 25, 2018. Indigo will operate two direct daily flights on Hyderabad-Nagpur-Hyderabad sector, three direct daily flights on Hyderabad-Mangalore-Hyderabad sector, and effective May 1 two direct daily flights on Chennai-Mangalore-Chennai sector. These flights will be operated on the brand new ATR 72-600 aircraft to be inducted in its 155 strong fleet.


Closure of Chandigarh airport from

12 – 31 May 2018 for expansion work

Chandigarh will be aerially cut off from the rest of the world for 20 days this peak summer travel season. The city’s international airport will be closed from May 12 to 31 for expansion work and airlines are up in arms against the decision as it is expected to affect close to a lakh passengers who are to fly in and out of Chandigarh during that period.
