Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Eastbound Travel and any client, traveller, partner, or visitor using our website, booking services, itinerary planning, or travel consultation services. By engaging with our company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.

1. Scope of services

Eastbound Travel provides destination planning, itinerary design, accommodation coordination, transport recommendations, private guides, and specialist travel services. Our role is to assist in the planning and coordination of travel programmes, but we do not act as a carrier, accommodation provider, or insurer unless explicitly stated in writing.

Any quotation, recommendation, or proposal supplied by Eastbound is based on information available at the time of preparation and may be subject to change due to supplier availability, international conditions, pricing, or regulatory updates.

2. Booking confirmations

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant service provider, including airlines, hotels, transport operators, cruise lines, and local suppliers. Eastbound acts as an intermediary between the traveller and those providers and cannot be held responsible for the actions, omissions, or policies of third parties outside our direct control.

A booking becomes confirmed only once a written confirmation, deposit, or payment instruction has been issued by the client and acknowledged by Eastbound. Until that point, pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.

3. Payments and deposits

Payment terms depend on the type of trip, the service provider, and the timing of booking. In many cases, an initial deposit is required to hold space, with the remaining balance due before departure or in accordance with supplier conditions.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.
  • Late payments may result in cancellation of reservations.
  • All prices are quoted in the currency stated in the proposal unless otherwise agreed.
  • Bank, card, or transfer fees imposed by payment providers are the responsibility of the client.

4. Cancellation, postponement and changes

Cancellations may be subject to supplier cancellation fees, administrative charges, and non-recoverable deposits. Eastbound will communicate all applicable penalties where known, but the final decision rests with the applicable service provider and the terms of the booking contract.

If a trip is postponed or modified due to force majeure, political instability, weather, labour disruption, strikes, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, Eastbound may be unable to offer a refund or substitute product. In such cases, alternative arrangements may be proposed where available.

5. Travel documents and eligibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination documentation, and any other requirements for their destination. Eastbound may provide general guidance, but it is the traveller's responsibility to verify and comply with all immigration, health, and customs requirements.

We reserve the right to decline or withdraw services if a traveller does not meet entry requirements, presents a safety risk, or fails to comply with local laws or the standards of a service supplier.

6. Liability

Eastbound Travel endeavours to deliver high-quality planning and service, but we do not accept liability for losses caused by supplier failure, weather, civil unrest, mechanical failure, delays, illness, personal injury, or any event outside our reasonable control. Our responsibilities are limited to the services we directly provide and to the extent agreed in writing.

We are not responsible for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of enjoyment, missed opportunities, or additional travel costs arising from circumstances beyond our control.

7. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate information, including travel dates, preferences, medical notices, dietary requirements, and emergency contact details. Eastbound cannot be held responsible for any negative outcome resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

Travellers are expected to behave responsibly, respect local customs and laws, and follow all instructions issued by suppliers or local authorities.

8. Intellectual property

All text, images, branding, route copy, content, and design materials on this website are the property of Eastbound Travel or licensed for use by our company. Reproduction or unauthorised commercial use is prohibited without written consent.

9. Privacy and data

Personal data collected in connection with planning and booking services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of personal information necessary to fulfil travel arrangements and communicate with you about your trip.

10. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Eastbound Travel operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal dispute arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that territory, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Changes to these terms

Eastbound Travel may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect operational changes, legal requirements, or improvements to our services. Continued use of the website or engagement with our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
