Over 86 percent of India's adult population is now fully vaccinated against coronavirus infection. With the kids' vaccine drive going on, we are very hopeful that the worst is over. In India, life is back to complete normalcy now. Yes, travel to India for tourism, and other short-term purposes resumed fully for individuals holding tourist or e-tourist visas. Foreign citizens from more than 160 countries can get an Indian eVisa online.

Eastbound is actively monitoring the impact of COVID-19 in India and the region.

In an attempt to restrict the spread of COVID-19, the Indian government has issued a travel advisory/restriction whereby no international commercial passenger aircraft is allowed to disembark its passengers on Indian soil. State borders have been sealed and the general public is advised not to move out of their homes unless absolutely essential.
